Contract R1017 – Refurbishment of MRT Station Toilets (Phase 1)

SIAC Pte. Ltd. is proud to have successfully delivered Contract R1017, a large-scale refurbishment project spanning 29 MRT stations along Singapore’s North-South (NS), East-West (EW), and Circle (CC) Lines.

Commencing in July 2021 and completed in September 2024, this milestone project reflects SIAC’s proven ability to manage and execute complex works in high-traffic public infrastructure environments with precision, quality, and efficiency.

The comprehensive scope involved the full refurbishment of male, female, and handicapped toilets across 28 NSEWL stations and 1 CCL station (Serangoon). By modernizing essential commuter facilities, SIAC not only enhanced functionality and accessibility but also contributed to a more comfortable and reliable travel experience for millions of daily passengers.
Stations upgraded under this project included key interchanges and high-traffic hubs such as City Hall, Raffles Place, Bishan, Tampines, Bugis, Jurong East, and Dhoby Ghaut, as well as commuter-centric stations like Yishun, Clementi, Woodlands, Boon Lay, and Paya Lebar , among others.
This achievement underscores SIAC’s position as a trusted partner in public infrastructure, consistently delivering projects that combine technical excellence, operational reliability, and user-focused outcomes. It further reinforces our commitment to building Singapore’s future infrastructure, creating spaces that are sustainable, resilient, and commuter-centric.
