Gali Batu Bus Depot – 85000m2 Ceiling

The DE142 Gali Batu Bus Depot is a five-storey, large-scale facility designed to support up to 665 public buses, with provision for charging infrastructure serving more than 200 electric buses.

SIAC’s Scope of Work involved the supply and installation of acoustic woodwool systems and related solutions, executed with precision and adherence to project specifications.

Key Deliverables:

• 74,400 m² of acoustic woodwool ceiling within the bus depot
• 2,900 m² of acoustic woodwool cladding within the bus depot
• 10,000 m² of acoustic ceiling to office spaces and dormitory
• 2,200 m² of acoustic woodwool and fabric lining to office spaces
• 450 m² of wall-clad noise barriers
• 460 m² of smoke barrier system

Timeline: October 2023 – March 2025

Throughout the works, SIAC maintained strict compliance with acoustic, fire safety, and architectural standards, ensuring performance, durability, and integration with the facility’s operational requirements.

Our contributions were formally recognized when SIAC was presented with a testimonial by the project main contractor, commending our professionalism, commitment, and quality workmanship.
